
Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Sallaghari, Bhaktapur (SAM Bhaktapur) Notice Regarding Grade 6 Student Admission
Applications are invited as per the rules for the admission of sons/daughters of personnel of the Nepal Army (both serving and retired) and civilians who wish to study in a fully English medium and disciplined environment at Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Sallaghari, Bhaktapur for the upcoming academic session 2082.
Application forms can be obtained from the Principal’s Office of the college or downloaded from the website www.bsamv.edu.np by paying the prescribed fee, except on public holidays.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
(a) Students must have passed all subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (minimum C+ grade or GPA 2.4) in the annual/half-yearly/second trimester examination of Grade 5 in the year 2081 from a school recognized by the Government of Nepal.
(b) The student must not have completed 12 years of age as of the 1st of Baisakh, 2082.
(c) Students must pass the written entrance examination conducted by the college and get selected for the second phase based on merit. They must also pass the interview and basic health screening.
Documents to be Submitted:
(a) One certified copy of the marksheet of the Grade 5 annual/half-yearly/second trimester examination of 2081.
(b) One certified copy of the character certificate indicating the age of the student.
(c) Two copies of the certified birth registration certificate from the local registrar.
(d) Two recent photographs (one passport size and one auto size).
(e) For children of serving personnel, one original recommendation letter from the concerned unit with the birthdate of the child clearly mentioned.
OR
For children of retired personnel, one copy of the pension letter.
Selected candidates must submit all required certificates (transfer certificate, character certificate, and marksheet) to the college’s examination section before admission. IEMIS Transfer must also be completed.
As per the one-child-one-level policy for the quota of Nepal Army personnel and college staff, if one child has studied under the quota at a certain level, the second child will not be eligible for the same level under the same benefit. However, if desired, the second child can be admitted by paying the full fee under the civilian (open category) group.
There is a provision for children of personnel who lost their lives in service, those mentioned in the rules as eligible for benefits, and differently-abled children of Nepal Army personnel to study as per the rules. Interested applicants may submit the forms accordingly.
Entrance Examination Schedule:

Form Distribution and Submission: From 2081 Chaitra 03 to 2081 Chaitra 13, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (except on public holidays).

Written Entrance Examination: 2081 Chaitra 16, Saturday at 1:00 PM.
