Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Dhawalagiri Technical School, Thasang-3, Kalopani, Mustang Notice for Filling Application Form for Free Training in Pre-Diploma Level Industrial Apprentice Training (Apprenticeship) Program
This notice is published to inform all interested Nepali citizens who have participated in the SLC or SEE exams that the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), in coordination with the Training Department, will conduct a 24-month free Pre-Diploma level Industrial Apprentice Training (Apprenticeship) program for the academic session 2061/062. The details of the program are as follows:
Conducted Program: Pre-Diploma in Hotel Management
Duration: 24 months

Fees: Free
A. Required Qualifications:
- Must have participated in the SLC or SEE exams.
- The applicant must be mentally and physically capable of receiving the relevant training.
- Must be a Nepali citizen at least 16 years of age.
- For Dalits, Janajatis, Muslims, Madhesis, remote area residents, and impoverished individuals, a recommendation letter from the concerned local authority is required.
B. Documents to be Submitted with the Application Form:
- Three recent passport-size photos with a clear face.
- A certified copy of the certificate of participation in the SLC/SEE.
- For those who have passed equivalent exams to SLC/SEE outside Nepal, a certified copy of the equivalency letter issued by the designated authority of the Government of Nepal.
C. Selection Process:
- Application Form Distribution Date: From Friday, 2081 Ashoj 04.
- Place to Receive and Submit Application Form: The application form can be obtained and submitted at the respective school or downloaded from https://www.ctevtexam.org.np, https://www.enssure.org.np, or the school’s website https://www.dts.edu.np. The filled form can be scanned and sent to the school’s email address: [email protected] or submitted in person at the school.
- Last Date for Submitting Application Form: Friday, 2081 Ashoj 18.
- Date and Time of Written Entrance Exam: Saturday, 2081 Kartik 03 at 8:00 AM.
- Venue for Written Entrance Exam: Dhawalagiri Technical School, Thasang-3, Kalopani, Mustang.
- Interview Date and Time: Saturday, 2081 Kartik 03 at 1:00 PM.
- Venue for Interview: Dhawalagiri Technical School, Thasang-3, Kalopani, Mustang.
D. School Specialties:
- Free hostel accommodation with bedding facilities.
- A daily allowance of NPR 100.00 for snacks on attendance days.
- Facilitation for foreign employment and domestic employment after completion of the training.
- Maximum practical training in the school's own tourist-level lodge and restaurant.
- After 4 ½ months of theoretical and practical practice at the school, 19.5 months of practical training will be conducted at a designated hotel.
- 25% of the monthly service benefits as per the Labor Act will be provided by the designated hotel.
