National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Dean’s Office, Examination Division, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu, Notice Regarding Admission to Anesthesia Assistant Course.
The National Academy of Medical Sciences is publishing this notice to inform eligible candidates about the admission process for the one-year Anesthesia Assistant Course for the academic year 2082/83.
Nepali citizens who have passed Health Assistant or Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing from a recognized educational institution must deposit a non-refundable fee of NPR 2,000 into the NAMS current account number 136-01-0000-2334-001 at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Bhotahity Branch, Kathmandu. After submitting the original payment voucher, candidates can collect the entrance examination form from the Dean’s Office starting from 2082/01/02.
The completed application form along with all required documents mentioned in the form must be submitted to the Dean’s Office, NAMS, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha by 2082/01/31. If the deadline falls on a public holiday, the form must be submitted on the next working day.
The admit cards will be distributed on 2082/02/06 and 2082/02/07. The date, time, and venue of the entrance examination will be specified on the admit card.

Note:
If any seat under the Government of Nepal, Sponsor, or Institutional category remains vacant for any reason, admission will be granted to the next eligible candidate from the open competition based on the merit list.
Additional Requirements:

Applicants employed by the Ministry of Health of Gandaki Province must include prior approval from the province’s Ministry of Health.

Applicants employed by the Ministry of Health of Sudurpaschim Province must include prior approval from the province’s Ministry of Health.

For seats sponsored by the Nick Simons Institute, a nomination letter from the same institution must be submitted.

Institutional candidates must submit proof of continuous employment for at least 2 years at the concerned institution and a letter of sponsorship from the institution for study purposes.

Age requirements will follow prevailing regulations up to the final date of form submission.

Applicants must include a copy of the registration certificate from the Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Nursing Council, along with a certificate of at least 2 years of work experience at a government-recognized health institution after obtaining council registration.

All candidates—whether from provincial governments, sponsors, institutions, or open category—are required to pay the training fee as determined by the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
