Online Application for Common Entrance Examination of Postgraduate Level in Health Professional Education for Foreign Candidates (MECEE-PG 2022)

Medical Education Commission calls for online application to select candidates in merit basis for the following health professional programs run by all Universities, affiliated colleges and Health Science Academies throughout the country. Application is called from all eligible Nepalese and Foreign candidates from September 30, 2022 to November 2, 2022, 5:00 PM (NST) through web portal of Medical Education Commission https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82.

- Eligible candidates can apply for more than one program with separate bank payments as per the above examination schedule.
- All the foreign candidates should fill up the online form as stated within due date.
- The candidates should choose one of the following options while filling up the online application form:
- Foreign to appear MECEE-PG 2022
- Foreign not to appear MECEE-PG 2022 (second category) who has passed the national level latest common entrance examination of their respective countries.
- The available seats for foreign candidates in the above academic programs will be up to ten percent of the total seats.

Note: There is a provision for editing applications and saving the online application form anytime before submission. Application once submitted can not be edited. However, applicants can apply fresh all over again by uploading a new bank voucher.
3. Procedure and Instruction for Online Application
- Applicants can pay the entrance fees in aforesaid account detail of Himalayan Bank Limited within the 'deadline for fee deposit'. The bank voucher/payment receipt should clearly contain the transaction number and the applicant's mobile number.
- The application form should be filled-up and submitted online through the MEC web portal https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82.
- Documents Required:
- Last six digits of the transaction reference number (TRN/request unique ID/Transaction code) and applicant's mobile number.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Scan copy/photo of Passport.
- Scan copy/photo of signature
- Transcript and certificates of relevant bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Medical council registration certificate of respective country.
- Students can be expelled at any time (even after admission) if found guilty of submitting fake documents or wrong identity.
- Once the application is filled, the necessary documents are to be uploaded and the self-declaration is to be done. It is advised to review (edit/save) the application before submission. Once the application is submitted, it is not editable.
- Application can be saved and edited as many times by accessing through 'Check your status' on application portal. Contact number and email address are not editable once entered.
Photo of applicants
Image File Format: The image must be in the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) format with good quality.
- Photo/image should not be crispy or blurry.
Image Resolution: The photo must be correct orientation and cropped to image area.
- Image File Size: The maximum file size is 200 kilobytes (200KB)
Certificate/Documents
- File Format: JPEG or PDF.
- Certificates/documents should not be crispy or blurry.
- File Size: The maximum file size is 500 kilobytes (500KB).
- Confirmation Page will be displayed only after submission of application. Applicants can save/print it for future reference. It is not Admit Card but proof for online form submission.
- Students should print their own admit card by providing details in the 'Check Application Status' page which can be visited by clicking 'Check your status/print admit card' button in home page. Admit card can be printed before five days of entrance examination date.
- Candidates will be responsible for all travel arrangements. Candidates should abide by the current .rules and regulations laid down by Government of Nepal.

5. Regarding the conduct during entrance examination
- Examination centre will be mention in the admit card.
- Candidate should appear in the examination centre with admit card and Passport as mentioned in the online form.
- Candidates should report at respective examination centre at least two hours before the examination.
- Candidates are not allowed to take pen or any stationery with them. Candidates are supposed to use the gel-pen provided in the examination hall.
- Candidates can be examined physically or electronically before entering examination centre.
- No ornament, jewel, electrical appliance/accessories can be put on in examination hall.
- No admission is allowed in examination hall after 15 minutes of beginning of examination.
- No candidates are permitted to leave examination hall before completion of examination hours.
6. The eligibility for Foreign Candidates
- It is mandatory for all candidates to submit the application form within due date.
- Candidates should secure at least 50th percentile in the entrance exam to qualify for admission.
- The admission in the different program will be done by matching process.
- If the number of merit candidates is less than the available seats allocated for foreign candidates, matching will be done only once.
- Those who appear in the entrance examination conducted by Medical Education Commission will be given the first priority.
- If the seats fall vacant as stated in (e) matching will be done among those who have passed latest national level common entrance examination of their respective countries who agreed the condition to be in second priority in the merit list and have secured at least 50th percentile or above in national level medical entrance examination in their respective countries. If the results of the entrance examination is in percentage, he/she should have secured at least 50% marks.
- The remaining seats after completion of the matching of foreign candidates will be transferred to Nepalese open/paying seats.
- Foreign candidates who are selected for admission are required to produce original documents at the time of admission.
- Private practice is not allowed during the residency.
- Medical Education Common Entrance Examination Committee reserves all the rights regarding entrance examination.
- Candidates can login into the web portal https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82 by scanning the following QR code with the QR code scanner of the mobile phone.
