Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) Admission Open for Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) Program:
A Program jointly run by Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) and Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA/GoN).
Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) is an innovative graduate program with curricula incorporating wide ranges of public policy and public affairs-related subjects aimed at enabling the academia and professionals to formulate better public policies, effectively implement them and enhance the skills of public sector management. The program is generally designed for mid-career professionals seeking to acquire and enhance their theoretical and practical understanding with critical and holistic approaches to analyze complex public policy and governance issues.
Eligibility:
- Nepali or non-Nepali national with at least three years of work experience and Bachelor Degree of at least two-year duration in any discipline with a minimum 45 percent in aggregate or CGPA 2.0 on a scale of 4; OR
- Master degree in any discipline with 40 percent in aggregate or CGPA 0 on a scale of 4 from a university recognized by Kathmandu University; OR
- Six years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree of at least a two-year duration in any discipline with a minimum of 40 percent in aggregate or CGPA 2.0 on a scale of 4.
Government Scholarship: on tuition and fees is available for 15 (fifteen) successful candidates employed by the Government from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA/GoN). Out of fifteen, two candidates from each of seven provinces (one from each provincial administration, and another one from a local government within each province), and the remaining ones from the federal government will be selected on a merit basis as per the KUSOM admission criteria. The MoFAGA will also communicate about the opportunity through an appropriate channel.
And, the remaining 15 candidates will be selected on a merit and open competition basis (open to all)
Financial aid: KU provides limited financial assistance for needy and deserving students.
