Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population, National Health Training Center, Teku, Kathmandu Notice Regarding Entrance Examination for the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) Program Affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)
The National Health Training Center (NHTC) is publishing this notice to inform eligible and interested individuals to apply for admission to the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) program, affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), which will be conducted in Fiscal Year 2081/82.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science. For those under the grading system, a minimum CGPA of 1.6 out of 4.0 in Grades 11 and 12 is required.
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Program Duration: 1 year and 6 months.
Number of Seats: 24.
Selection of Participants: Through an entrance examination (based on the 10+2 Science curriculum with 20 objective multiple-choice questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English, totaling 100 questions).
Entrance Examination Date: Saturday, 12th Ashoj 2081, at 8:00 AM.
Application Submission Venue: National Health Training Center, BMET UNIT, Teku.
Last Date for Application Submission: Sunday, 6th Ashoj 2081, by 5:00 PM.
Scholarships: Two scholarships will be awarded - one for merit-based (highest score in the entrance exam) and one for classified (highest score among candidates meeting the minimum eligibility).
Documents to Submit with the Application: Copies of Citizenship Certificate, SLC/SEE and 10+2 transcripts, and Character Certificate.
Additional Documents for Classified Scholarship: Certified copies of documents from the respective local authority/District Education Office (DEO)/School/University certifying that the candidate completed SLC/SEE and 10+2 from a government or community school.
Note for Classified Scholarship Applicants: Candidates applying for the classified scholarship are not eligible to compete in the full-fee category.
