Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Technical Division, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur Urgent Notice Regarding Recommendations for Admission to Pre-Diploma and Diploma/Certificate Programs in Technical Education (Except Health Programs) with Special Scholarships for the Academic Session 2081/082
For the fiscal year, applications were invited from students residing at 78 local levels with limited access to technical education for various pre-diploma and diploma/certificate programs. These programs were announced through a notice published in the Gorkhapatra National Daily on 2081/04/30.
Candidates who submitted their applications per the guidelines participated in the entrance exam held on 2081/05/29.
The admission process follows the directives 2081, where 70 points are allocated to entrance exam scores and 30 points to SLC/SEE/Pre-Diploma results.
The combined score determines the ranking of candidates, based on which the main, pass, and fail lists were prepared. As per the recommendation of the Examination Control Office on 2081.06.23, candidates were selected according to the educational institution and program, and the decision was published following the Central Coordination/Implementation Committee's resolution on 2081.07.05.
Candidates selected for Diploma in Hotel Management, Agriculture (Crop Science and Animal Science), Civil, Electrical, and Pre-Diploma in Automobile and Livestock Production/Animal Health programs must complete their admission by 2081.07.26. If this date coincides with a public holiday, the admission should be completed by the following day.
Candidates must bring all necessary original documents (academic certificates, admit cards, original proof of category, and copies of the results) to the designated institution for admission. This notice is published to inform all concerned candidates.
Educational institutions designated for scholarship admissions are instructed to verify the minimum academic qualification certificates, category recommendation letters from the relevant authority, and original admit cards of the recommended students as per the published results.
The institution's principal must keep a copy of the verified documents in their records. Admissions must be conducted within the specified time without charging any fees, following the Admission, Scholarship Distribution, and Enrollment Guidelines, 2081, for students meeting the academic qualifications.
If an unqualified candidate is admitted, the council will not maintain registration for such candidates, and the responsibility will rest with the principal of the concerned institution.
If the mani candidates fail to enroll within the stipulated time, and any program has vacant seats, the concerned institution must publish a 5-day notice in the Gorkhapatra National Daily.
It should invite applications from candidates on the pass/waiting list. The applications should be registered in the institution's main register, and selection should be made based on the qualifications of the targeted class or group for the respective program.
If seats remain vacant even after this process, applications must be accepted from qualified candidates from other categories who have passed the entrance exam. Admission should be based on their qualifications in the desired program.
Admissions must be conducted within the respective province for candidates from the 78 municipalities with limited access to technical education. Detailed information regarding the recommendations is available at www.ctevtexam.org.np.
Note:
- Admissions must adhere to the quotas as per the published list and guidelines.
