Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, Dean's Office, Kirtipur Notice regarding filling up of application form for B.Sc. Admission 2078
The following entrance examination program has been published for the students who wish to be enrolled in B.Sc. 2078, a four-year bachelor's degree in science which is taught according to the annual examination system in the affiliated campuses and affiliated colleges under the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University. The application has to be done online as follows.
1) Minimum eligibility for admission:
(A) Must have passed Proficiency Certificate Level I.Sc. or Council of Higher Secondary Education 10th (Science) or equivalent. For those who want to study in Biological Group, they should have passed at least second class or Final Grade C in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 200/200 marks. For those who want to study in Physical Group, they should have passed with 200/200 integers in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least second class or Final Grade C in each subject. In order to study A-Level, at least a grade should be brought.
(B) In case of educational qualification obtained from a foreign educational institution or university, equivalent documents obtained from Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimi Bhaktapur should be submitted.
2) Application Process (Completely Online):
(A) The application form for the entrance examination placed on the website of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies: https://www.tuiost.edu.np should be filled by the applicant himself/herself through the same application form.
(B) The Illib Form will be available only on the date 2078-10-23 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 pm on 2078-11-22. Therefore, it is advised to complete the examination form at any time within that period. The online form will automatically close after the specified time.
(C) The application form can be filled out from any place with an internet facility at any time on specified days.
(D) The amount of the entrance examination fee is Rs. The account number 0501010000023 in Kirtipur branch should be credited. Also, through the online medium in the recruitment portal, the fee can be collected by using the app and link given on the website of TUIoST. While filling out the online form, the bank's voucher number or transaction ID number must be filled. Applicants must complete the examination fee by 3:00 pm on 2078-11-22 and the application form must be completed by 5:00 pm. The amount paid for the examination fee will not be refunded after the bank voucher is deducted.
(E) The form can be submitted online till 5:00 pm on 2078-11-29 by paying the double fee.
(F) When filling out the form, the applicant must follow the instructions available online and submit it along with the information and materials to be uploaded. In order to prove the minimum qualification of the applicant, it is advised to fill the form only after preparing the transcript, mark sheet, equivalency certificate, signature of the applicant, and other materials including MRP Standard photo.
(G) Acknowledgment Page should be printed immediately after filling and submitting the examination form online.
(H) The admission letter will be provided in a phased manner online from 2078-11-30. You have to download the Admission Card and Print it. In order to join the examination, it is mandatory to go to the designated district/center along with the admission card. Along with the admission card, you will also need to bring the ID (such as a citizenship certificate or driver's certificate, or last academic level admission card) with your identity photo.
3) Students will have to choose the place to take the exam while filling out the online form. They will be as follows.

6) Details of the campuses conducting four-year undergraduate level (BSc) programs under the Institute of Science and Technology Studies can be obtained from https://www.tuiost.edu.np
7) Information about the entrance exam:
(A) There will be common questions for Physical and Biological groups. The score of the entrance examination will be 100 integers. There will be Objective / Multiple Choice questions of the following subjects based on ISC and 11 and 12 or similar courses.
a) Mathematics - 25 Marks
b) Chemistry - 25 Marks
c) Physics - 25 Marks
d) Biology -25
e) English + Aptitude test 25 Marks
If the candidates get equal marks in the result of the entrance examination, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the mathematics subject in the entrance examination. If there are equal marks then the marks obtained in Chemistry and Physics respectively will be used as the basis. In case of equal marks in all these, lower education level will be used as the basis. Issues obtained from these bases will not be published.
(B) The duration of the entrance examination shall be 2 hours.
(C) In order to pass the entrance examination, one has to get 30 percent marks of Purnadak.
8) Admission: After Najita, every examinee will have to download his / her score sheet and keep in touch with the college he/she wants to be admitted.
9) Regarding inclusive quota: Campus/colleges will have to admit on the basis of inclusive quota as per TU rules.
