KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY School of Medical Sciences invites application for Post graduate MDS Programs (Academic Year: 2018). Applications are invited for the following MDS programs of Kathmandu University from eligible candidates.
Subjects
- Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
- Oral and maxillofacial Surgery
- Oral Pathology
- Orthodontics
- Periodontics
- Prosthodontics
Eligibility criteria
- BDS or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Registration with Nepal Medical Council.
Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates will be done on the merit basis of entrance examination and counseling.
Application Form, Submission Process and Deadline
The applicants must fill up and submit online application form from www.kusms.edu.np with a copy of bank voucher of Nepal Investment Bank worth NRs.5000/- each form (non-refundable), deposited in the name of KUSMS Account Number: 00505030017934 on or before 15 August 2018. Deposit can be made through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.
Candidates who have submitted online application forms will get Admit Card with Seat Number which must be color printed and brought for biometrics verification and to enter in the examination hall.
Date, Time and venue for biometrics verification:
- Date: 19 August 2018
- Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Venue: Basic Medical Sciences, KUSMS, Chaukot, Kavre
Note: Candidates who do not present/fail for biometrics verification will strictly not be allowed to appear in Entrance Examination even though their online admit card is generated.
Entrance Examination: Date, Time and Venue
- Date of Entrance examination: Saturday, 25 August 2018.
- Time & Venue: Will be notified later
- Entrance test result will be published at www.kusms.edu.np or www.dhulikhelhospital.org
- Date of counseling will be notified at the time of entrance test result.
This Examination will be valid for the Academic Year 2018 only.
- Candidates are instructed to read their eligibility criteria before depositing the bank voucher and submission of online application.
- Candidate submitting wrong information in their online application form will not be allowed to enter counseling session even though the candidate may have passed the Entrance Examination. Such candidate's entrance examination will be automatically cancelled if it does not meet the requirements of the University.
