Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology (IoST), Dean's Office, Kirtipur Information about filling the application form for BSc admission 2079 entrance exam.
The following entrance examination program has been published for the students who are interested in enrolling in the four-year bachelor's degree (BSc) 2079 in science, which is taught according to the annual examination system in the affiliated campuses and affiliated colleges of Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and Technology (IoST). The application should be applied online mode as follows.
1) Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(a) Must have passed Proficiency Certificate level (ISc) or 10+2 (Science) of Higher Secondary Education Council or equivalent examination. For those who want to study in the Biological Group, they must have passed 200/200 marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 2nd grade or Final Grade C in each subject. For those who want to study in the Physical Group, they must have passed 200-200 marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least second grade or Final Grade C in each subject. In the case of those studying A Level, they should have passed with at least an E grade.
(b) In case of educational qualification obtained from a foreign educational institution or university, a document of equivalence obtained from Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimi Bhaktapur should be submitted.
2) Application Process (Completely Online):
(a) The application form of the entrance examination placed on the website of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies: https://www.tuiost.edu.np must be filled by the applicant himself and submitted online through the same website.
(b) The online form will be available on the website from 10:00 AM on Wednesday 29-05-29 to Friday 25-07-2079. The online form will close automatically after the specified time.
(c) The application form can be filled at any time on the specified days from any place with convenient access.
(d) The amount of entrance examination fee is Rs.1,000.- (literally one thousand only) from any branch of Global IME Bank Limited within Nepal for the Institute of Science and Technology (IoST) entrance examination by filling out the special voucher prepared by that bank to this office. Global IME Bank Limited should be deposited in the account at the Kirtipur branch. In addition, the fee can be collected through the online method in the enrollment portal by using the link and APP provided on the IoST website. When filling out the online form, the bank's voucher number or Transaction ID number must be filled in compulsorily. The amount paid for the examination fee will not be refunded.
(D) Double Fee Form can be submitted online from 2079-07-026 to Friday 2079-08-02.
(f) When filling the form, the applicant must follow the instructions available online and submit the information and the materials to be uploaded. In order to prove the applicant's minimum qualification, it is advised to fill the form only after preparing the materials including transcript, mark sheet, equivalency certificate, applicant's signature (using black ink) and MRP standard photograph. The form will not be accepted if a blurred, illegible document is received.
(G) After completing the online submission of the exam form, the Acknowledgment Page should be printed immediately.
(h) From the date 2079-08-11, the admit card will be provided through online in a phased manner. The admit card should be downloaded and color printed. To join the examination, one must go to the designated district/center with the admit card. In addition to the admit card, you will also need to bring an ID with a photo showing your identity (such as a citizenship certificate or driver's license or the admit card of the last educational level).

6) Under the Institute of Science and Technological Studies, the details of the four-year undergraduate degree (BSc) program have been conducted https://www.tuiost.edu.np.
7) Information related to the entrance exam:
(a) Common questions related to the Physical and Biological group. The weightage of the entrance test should be 100 rounds. Objective/Multiple Choice Questions of the following subjects have been asked on the basis of ISc / 11th & 12th class syllabus.
Note: In Group B, one of Mathematics and Biology must be done.
If the candidates get equal marks in the result of the entrance examination, the merit list will be prepared (placement) based on the marks obtained in the subject of Biology/Mathematics in the entrance examination. If there are equal marks, the marks obtained in chemistry and physics respectively will be used as the basis. In case of equal marks in all these, the lower educational level will be made the basis. Scores obtained from these bases will not be published.
(b) The duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours.
(c) To pass the entrance examination, 30% marks must be obtained.
8) Admission: After winning, every candidate will have to download their score sheet and keep in touch with the college they want to join.
9) Regarding Inclusive Quota: Campuses/Colleges will have to admit on the basis of Inclusive Quota as per TU rules.
10) Scholarship: TU Institute of Science and Technology (IoST) scholarship will be as per the guidelines work 2079.
